Fish Lake Remount Depot

Santiam Wagon Road Exhibition

Date: September 28, 2024

Celebrate the cultural heritage of the Santiam Wagon Road (SWR) and step back in time at the historic Fish Lake Remount Depot Saturday, September 28th..  This family friendly event features living history, site tours, packstring demonstrations, local Native American artisans, historic wagons, vintage cars, and the Leland Gilsen Traveling Museum. Click HERE for more on the history of the Fish Lake Remount Depot

As icing-on-the-cake, so to say, ASCO will be leading a field trip trip to the Fish Lake Remount Depot to compliment the earlier field trip led by Leslie Olson & Steve Lent covering the eastern portion of the Santiam Wagon Road. ASCO will have a table, chairs and posters at the event. Members are welcome to occupy them <;)

Please register here on the ASCO website, rather with the CascadeVolunteers, so we can coordinate travel. I will pass our registration count to CascadeVolunteers.
